As part of Çankırı Karatekin University’s ongoing commitment to quality assurance, Quality Commission members Prof. Dr. Yavuz Demirel and Prof. Dr. Hatice Yazgan participated in the 2024 European Quality Assurance Forum, organized by the European Universities Association. The forum, held at the University of Twente in the Netherlands from November 14-16, provided an opportunity to stay updated on global developments in quality assurance and to foster international collaboration.
The theme of this year’s forum, “Enhancing Education, Research, and Public Engagement through Quality Assurance,” focused on the latest trends, case studies, and advancements related to quality assurance in Europe and beyond. Key topics included stakeholder engagement, the role of artificial intelligence in higher education and quality assurance, and student involvement in quality processes across various countries. These discussions provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of higher education quality. In addition to engaging with international participants, Çankırı Karatekin University’s representatives also met with YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak and his delegation. During these consultations, information about ÇAKÜ`s quality assurance processes was shared, and valuable experiences were exchanged. The forum concluded with an agreement to continue communication and collaboration with the European Universities Association on quality assurance initiatives, further strengthening the university’s commitment to excellence in education and research.
