Rector Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi and the University administration came together with the students studying at ÇAKÜ within the scope of Erasmus mobility at the iftar program.
Rector Çiftçi, who greeted the guests at the program, stated that iftar meetings with students, academicians and University staff have become a nice tradition at ÇAKÜ and expressed his pleasure to come together with international students in the last week of Ramadan this year. Referring to the Erasmus activities of our university, our Rector stated that ÇAKÜ actively participates in Erasmus processes, that it is at a considerable point among the universities in Türkiye in terms of both budget and faculty and student mobility, and that mobility is carried out not only in Europe but also in all countries outside Europe with KA107, KA171 projects.
Rector Çiftçi pointed out that international students who graduate from ÇAKU will work in different positions, especially in the bureaucracy, when they return to their countries and that they will carry Türkiye wherever they go and create a bond with Türkiye. Stating that the fact that ÇAKU is a student-oriented university is also a great advantage for international students, Rector Çiftiçi underlined that the student-centered approach of our university facilitates the adaptation processes of international students to the city and campus.
The iftar program continued with international students expressing their feelings and thoughts. The students expressed their satisfaction with ÇAKU and thanked our Rector Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi for his support throughout their education process. Rector Çiftçi also thanked the students who participated in the event and wished them success in their education life.
