ÇANKIRI Karatekin University Rector Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi and the accompanying delegation made a series of visits to Nakhchivan State University to see the functioning of the ongoing Erasmus+ KA171 project with Nakhchivan State University and to discuss further mobility opportunities for students and staff. In this context, the delegation was welcomed by Acting Rector Rəhimov Rafiq Vilayətoğlu, other Vice Rectors and Deans and agreed to increase the ongoing cooperation between the two universities. Mr. Rafiq gave information about the history, current situation, departments, scientific studies, fields of activity, achievements and bilateral collaborations of Nakhchivan State University and explained the importance of their cooperation especially with the sister country Türkiye. Among these, he mentioned that they especially care about the bilateral cooperation and protocols with Çankırı Karatekin University, because among the universities in Türkiye, ÇAKÜ is an important university for Nakhchivan State University. He stated that the specialization of ÇAKÜ on salt will further strengthen the cooperation between the two universities, as Nakhchivan also has a large salt deposit. He stated that this meeting was a very important and initial meeting for these possible collaborations.
